Do you know lots of random things? Do you like pressing buzzers? Do you enjoy competing? We can create school teams to compete virtually.
“Let’s Erase the Stigma” Club
This club is peer-run with a staff advisor that will attend all meetings. This is a student-led club that “raises mental health awareness; educates the school community; promotes services and supports and advocates. This club is not a formal support group; this club will serve as a space where like-minded students can spearhead activities and discussions that combat stigma.
Book Club
Love reading? Always looking for new interesting books? Join the Book Club to meet monthly to discuss a book or books that we have read and express your opinions, likes, dislikes, etc.
Eco Club
Interested in making a difference for the planet, learning about Ecology and getting our school eco-certified? We’ll craft initiatives and campaigns together!!
Steam Club
We will do activities that will be fun and engaging and get your creativity flowing!
Some will be online and require no materials; some will be online, but require you to have your own materials to participate. The materials list will be posted one week prior.
Walkers Club
Grade 9-12 students, it’s time to stretch those legs and warm up!
- Meet each morning at 8:00 on Whatsapp
- Walk around your neighbourhood/building/ block for 15 mins
- Come back to computers and share pictures on Whatsapp.
- Parents must approve this club and ensure safety of all students.
Broadway Club
Are you interested in Musical Theatre? Do you love to perform? Then, join the Musical Theatre Club! We will create a virtual showcase together that will be performed for family and friends online. Learn the basics of Theatre Etiquette and Showmanship!
Games Club
After-school video game clubs are engaging children at schools globally… let us start a successful video game club at our school together.
Coding Club
The club aims to engage children in Computer Science and gain a practical understanding of basic coding. Using computers and tablets, students write and sequence instructions using drag and drop programming and basic JavaScript.
Minecraft Club
Build, create and have fun! We will play on the GamingEdus Multi-School Minecraft server, a whitelisted server shared by several schools across Canada. We will explore engineering, science, computer programming, or just see how much TNT we can blow up!
Dungeons and Dragons Club
Wargamers and Fantasy Buffs can enjoy playing this complex and exciting game. Your imaginations will know no bounds; enjoy a medieval world where the fantastic is fact and magic works!
